PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE:  Affected area: 7205 Thomas Drive, Dunes of Panama Building "C".  Due to the replacement of a 3" value by the City Utilities Staff, the water supply experienced a temporary loss of water pressure on March 14, 2018.  If you live at this address, you may experience discolored water approximately 24 hours after your water has been restored.  As a precaution, we advise all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or dish washing be boiled and a rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used. This notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The City will publicly issue a rescission lifting this “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” at that time.  If you have any questions, please contact PCB Utilities Department at (850) 233-5100 from 8AM-4PM, Monday -Friday, or after hours & weekends at (850) 233-5050.

Personnel assigned to this unit are civilian employees who work  through the Panama City Beach Police Department. The primary goal and mission of the Beach & Surf Information Unit is to maintain a constant watch over the beach and the waters of the Gulf of Mexico (where swimmers are swimming).  They also provide a wealth of information to visitors regarding many water safety issues.
