Summer Concert Series begins tonight

Post Date:06/07/2018 1:00 PM

PaperWorkJoin us from 7-9 tonight, Thursday, June 7 as we kick off the 10-week Summer Concert Series of free music at Aaron Bessant Park.

Tonight's band is PaperWork out of Myrtle Beach, SC. The band specializes in future funk, with tunes from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rick James, The Band and David Bowie.

Formed in 2012 by three childhood best friends, PaperWork has been introducing South Carolina to their own brand of futuristic funk at every show. While also paying tribute to some of the greatest artists of all time, the band has taken their act on the road long drives. The band's #1 goal is to get the crowd moving with their passion for music and rhythm wherever they go. Get ready to get down!

Admission to the concert is free. The event is put on by the Panama City Beach Parks & Recreation Department with support from the Tourist Development Council. Spectators are encouraged to bring their fold-up chairs and can bring a cooler with beer or wine. Food and beverages will also be sold on site.

We encourage everyone to come out and support this great event as we kick off summer in Panama City Beach!
