PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE: Affected areas: All streets north of Panama City Beach Parkway and west of Highway 79.
Due to a water main break 11/22/17, the water supply was interrupted and once repaired, you may experience discolored water approximately 24 hours after your water has been restored. As a precaution, we advise all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled and a rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. This notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. If you have any questions, please contact PCB Utilities at (850) 233-5100 from 8AM-4PM, Monday -Friday, or after hours & weekends at (850) 233-5050.

Parks Maintenance Worker

The City of Panama City Beach is currently accepting applications for two Part-Time Parks Maintenance Workers for the Parks & Recreation Department. This position is primarily Grounds Maintenance which includes: Mowing, Weed Eating, Dragging Fields, Beach Maintenance, Trash Pickup, Cleaning Restrooms, etc. Please review the full job description included in the application packet for qualification requirements.  Specific requirements include: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; have graduated from standard high school, vocational school, or have GED equivalency certificate; OR have any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have experience in performing semi-skilled or skilled maintenance work.

Interviews for qualified candidates will be scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

This position will be for $10.00 per hour and job will begin November 9, 2017.
