PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE:  Affected areas: 10519 Front Beach Road (Twin Palms Resort), 10611 Front Beach Road (Ocean Ritz Resort), 10625 (Ocean Villa Resort), 10713 (Grand View Resort East).   Due to utility crews replacing a fire hydrant, the water supply experienced a temporary loss of water pressure.   WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION NOTIFICATION FOR 10509, 10513, 10515 and 10517 FRONT BEACH ROAD, LONG BEACH RESORT.  On Tuesday, September 19, from 10 PM to Wednesday, September 20 at 2 AM, water service will be interrupted due to utility work.  a precautionary boil water notice will be put into effect at 2AM September 20th.  You may experience discolored water approximately 24 hours after your water has been restored.  As a precaution, we advise all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled and a rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  As an alternative, bottled water may be used. Pending satisfactory lab results, approximately 48 hours after work is completed, a notice will be hand-delivered to each property address when the release occurs. Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting- Sewer Rehab Project FY 17/18

PANAMA CITY BEACHSEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT - FY 17/18

A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at  2:00 p.m. Central Time, August 3, 2017 in the Panama City Beach Council Chambers, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.  Point of Contact will be Adrienne Pickett, at (850) 233-5100, ext. 2420.  Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. Applicants must be pre-qualified for bidding per submittal package received by 2:00 p.m. July 24, 2017.

This project includes repairs using trenchless technology methods of various sized gravity sewer lines by Contractor throughout the City of Panama City Beach Utility Service Area as more specifically set forth and described in the Contract Documents.  Based on available funds, the Owner will decide, in its sole discretion, as to the amount of lines and sizes to be repaired, which Owner may authorize Contractor to perform, pursuant to various Work Authorizations.  The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the portions of the project that are authorized by Owner through Work Authorizations. The owner anticipates entering into a continuing contract with an initial term of one (1) year, with up to two (2) one-year renewals.

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, August 15, 2017 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach – Sewer Rehabilitation Project - FY 17/18.”  A Bid Bond in the amount of $_25,000__ shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.  The City also reserves the right to reject contractors who in the City’s opinion are not qualified to perform the work based on the pre-qualification package.  All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.
